The chapter 11 examines how teachers and students can be active participants in evaluating and assessing their own growth as learners using technology. And Chapter 11 connects to NETS-T for teachers standard 5 part c, where teachers and students use digital tools to evaluate and reflect on current research and professional practice. Digital Portfolios showed in this chapter, it as a learning technology, it offer an effective way for students and teachers alike to assess their teaching and learning accomplishments. Before i read this chapter, I just know how to use digital portfolios to develop my career. after read I found it valuable not only to get a job but as a way to reflect on yourself. The reflect is very important, i can read other teachers' reflection to find new idea, and what i should do to make me better.

Chapter 10
The chapter 10 discussed what is Assistance Technology (AT), How to use AT to help disability students. From the chapter, I learned about many different teaching equipments and living devices for disability, like speaking system, reading software, and special wheel chair. For example, Stephen William Hawking, one of the most successful example for AT. Before I learn this chapter I did not know what the situation about disability teaching, and how is disability children live as normal people. after read, I think AT is wonderful! AT helps them to do what they want, making their life easier, and fulfill their dreams.

chapter 9
This chapter discusses the multimedia uses in the classroom. The different technology tools as a teaching and learning guides, we can use these technology tools to teach students, and students use these technology tools to resolve their difficulty questions. like web quest, it is good way to help students learn their knowledge, and the video on web quest, give the best sample for students. i think most of things we had learned until now. and I believe these technology tools are the most useful to help students learning different knowledge.

The chapter 8 discusses the communicate networking, like blog, wiki and websites.the chapter tell us how to use these resource in future teaching work. now most student like online working, find the answer from blog or website. I like wikipedia, I can find most information from this website, and i also recommend my students use it. But most people do not know the wikipedia has another function-communicate. we knew the information from wiki is write by any people, any one can add any information. so we can use this function to do group job. it is hard to write how to use, so i find a video to display how to use.

Game
Today, I tried different kind of games. each game provides different knowledge, you can study the knowledge from the game. I like play game, most time i can remember what is in the game, like a picture, a song or a story. I think the game can help our children to study knowledge, so i call this is happy studying.
But, I think we can not rely on the game. now most game does not have clearly grading,we do not know the game really fit for our children, and now we need a profession department to develop and watch the content about the game, then we can make sure the game give us a positive effect

Chapter 7
The chapter 7 discuss educational software supports and promotes problem solving and inquiry learning for students from kingdergarten to the twelfth grade. the text book introduce many educational software like Scratch. This is an electronic toolkit that enables students to make their own games, animated stories, and interactive art. I try to play the games from the scratch website, most games I can get the topic and learning information very clearly, I expect most of them are very interesting. I believe the game can attract children's attention in the classroom.
I remember a game which uses be very popular on iphone, the name is WORDS WITH FRIENDS, building words and get score with your friends, the students can play this game and remember the new words and review the old words, easy to use, easy to play and multiple devices supported.
The chapter 6 discusses the Education website resource, we can use these website for future teaching. Using the teaching website we can communicate with other teachers, exchange different teaching idea and problem. The website give us more idea to develop our lesson plan.
the text book introduces some websites, most of them share the lesson plan, some teachers experience, and comment. These resource are very useful for us, I got some ideas for webquest.
