Chapter 4 discusses technology integration and educational change to help teachers infuse technology into both classroom instruction and professional work. Technology integration issues and strategies are discussed with ways for teachers to address the persistent problems of the digital divide, digital inequality, and the participation gap. Nowadays, many teachers use new technology in their teaching. when i was studied in ESL class, Dr David often use Youtube.edu to show us the topic by some interesting videos. Depend on the video, we can get the important points about the topic, Most times the students find some new idea and connect with their experience to complete their language skills.
The Technology helps teacher and students a lots, but educator should have their own standard to make sure the website resource is reliable and clearly.

CHAPTER 5
In this chapter discusses how teachers and students can critically research and evaluate the internet as a teaching and learning environment. The chapter begins with search engines how they work , and how to teach students to evaluate for slant, bias, and purpose of information they locate online.
this is my favorite chapter, because of the search engines, I often use GOOGLE, BAIDU, WIKI, and YOUTUBE to teach my students. There are lots of information you can find from internet, like video, examples and pictures. But every time, when i display how to use GOOGLE or other search engine, I was so nervous. The search engine always connect some sensitive words, these words will attract younger students, But the students are not mature enough to see. I think we should develop a unique search engine that avoid all kind of sensitive words and content, like some TV has parents control.

2. Do you think wikipedia provide correct information anytime ?

Now i find lots of interesting APPS from apple apps store, most apps can help students to study new knowledge like playing games. I have a part time job for after school students, to help them finish their home work, I found most of them do not know which is hundred digit and ten digit. So i use apps which name is current money to teach them. They like money(haha) and study very quickly. But i think students will also use IPAD playing other games. I prefer use WIKIPEDIA or GOOGLE GROUP to teach students. I give them a topic and online resource, they can edited the idea page and study other students idea.

I really enjoy about chapter 2 was talking about the new technology to teach students. I believe many students will like the new way to study new knowledge. new technology using new way to practice group work, students can use new technology to create new idea with laptop, internet, photo editing, movie maker and other software. I wish i have these resource when i was in the school. that's great!

The chapter one discusses the new technology applied in education field. Technology can help teachers and students use the new way to study or teach new knowledge in the class.
When I was in the high school, I remember my teacher begin use the Powerpoint and flash video in the history class, it is better than we study from the text book, this is more attract us to study, Because reading the text book is so boring for us.
